Today, today you have the privilege of embarking on a journey never before undertaken in the land of the Blog.

There will be pain, there will be misery, but this is an essential part of the life quest that we must accept with arms wide open.

We do not know what the destination is. We do not know what we are trying to achieve. We don't even have a map to guide us.

We don't know what to expect, we can only make assumptions. Around the corner the beast of evil could be lurking, waiting for us, ready to take us in. In the dark forest we could follow the glowing path of the guardian, if we could learn to see without looking.

We must be prepared, yet nothing can be taken.

It is natural to be afraid. For if there was no fear, then courage could never exist. Embrace the fear, hold it close, accept it for what it is and it will no longer be your enemy, but an ally.

Give up who you think you need to be, to become who you are.

I must now meditate and prepare myself for the journey.
