I choose...

For it has been far too long since I have been on a great adventure. This one will be the "one" of legend. As my great granddaddy used to say,

"You only live life once, so do everything that you came here for. Don't tell children that magic is not real. And it is up to you and only you, to make the life that you wish for."

Well whatever, I believe in reincarnation. I do think it is important to keep magic alive. Without a belief in the unbelievable, it would be very difficult to lift the veil of reality.

It is my choice and mine alone to create the life of my choosing. Perhaps I don't do this consciously or unconsciously. It was a plan set in motion and agreed upon before I even came to this reality. Therefore, most and maybe all of this physical life has been ordained, so I should except what is and live life for each moment. That means accepting what I perceive as good and bad, sad and happy, abundant and scarce. It is all happening for a greater lesson. But what about free will? If my life already has a destiny, then I'm not really making any choices am I? Maybe free will is a false sense of security given to us to make us believe that we are in control. Perhaps free will is more than just a human component in this world, it is a power that we can use at any time to transcend in spiritual form.

This adventure is already taking its toll, and I haven't even left my chair.
